The member of the European Parliament of Fidesz spoke about this in a statement given to the Hungarian public media in Strasbourg on Thursday.
Balázs Hidvéghi stated that representatives of European Parliament factions sent a letter to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to request a full-scale mission to supervise the parliamentary elections in Hungary. Balázs Hidvéghi underlined that there is nothing new under the sun, among the initiators are the well-known NGOs belonging to the Soros network, such as Amnesty International or the Helsinki Committee, and the pro-immigration MEPs who have been serving these organizations for years . He said that the letter of the EP representatives was written by Daniel Freund of the Green Party, who himself received his salary from one of the Soros organizations for five years, worked for an NGO called Transparency International, and now as an EP representative he is constantly demanding that Hungary be punished.
"Among the signatories we find Katarina Barley, who became infamous for having previously demanded that Poland and Hungary be starved if these countries did not dance as they whistled in Brussels. But among them is Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, a well-known Green Party member of the LIBE committee, who is currently writing the latest lying EP report on Hungary," said Balázs Hidvéghi. they have been attacking us for years because we don't let illegal migrants in and because we protect our children from LGBTQ propaganda".
According to the politician, it is especially shameful and revealing that among the signatories there are also the Gyurcsány's DK representatives, as well as momentary EP representatives who are constantly inciting against Hungary in Brussels. It is understandable that there is a lot of panic on the Hungarian left, and they are already trying to defend the expected election defeat in advance, and that is why they immediately ran to their representatives in Brussels for help, he underlined.
According to Balázs Hidvéghi, it is obvious that the pro-immigration, European left wants to see the Gyurcsány-Márki-Zay Hungarian left in power, which is why he has now taken the first step to openly interfere in the Hungarian election.
"In addition to the fact that the letter is nothing more than completely baseless gossip, anyone and any monitoring group can come to Hungary with confidence. They can see with their own eyes that the Hungarian elections are free and democratic, in the same way that the elections held in recent years were all democratic and free," he stated.
