The Pest Reporter visited Mórahalm, whose staff went to the border settlement because the mayors of the surrounding towns and villages, as well as the county's police chiefs, were called to report on the unprecedented migration crisis experienced since the beginning of the year.

Lieutenant Colonel Sándor Révész said that compared to last year's data, the number of illegal immigrants arriving now is much higher. Béla Mihályfi, candidate for parliament and member of the Szeged local government, told our channel that it is crucial that the wire fence forming the southern border fence be maintained.

At the press conference, he stated that the stake of the April 3 election is whether the fence will be removed. Zoltán Nógrádi, the mayor of Mórahalom, told Pesti TV that with the arrival of migrants, the number of crimes in the city he leads has increased, and this is true for the surrounding settlements as well.
