This Is Us star Milana Vayntrub described her abortion years ago as a "beautifully boring" experience. The actress is not the first person in Hollywood to use her own abortion to campaign to end the lives of unborn babies.
Milana Vayntrub, the actress of This Is Us (in Hungarian, it's about us), spoke about her abortion ten years ago in a Daily Beast article, where she described the abortion of her unborn baby as a "beautifully boring" experience.
The actress's statement is also worth raising our heads because once again an opinion leader from Hollywood is campaigning for abortions. The case is not unique, not so long ago promoted abortion in her speech at the Golden Globe Awards The American drama series, which debuted on NBC on September 20, 2016, is only now becoming known here, but it is currently one of the most watched national dramas in America. Thus, we can rightly assume that the message the actress wants to convey will reach many people.
The TV star decided to share the details of her story because she wants Americans to "understand the difficulties of pregnancy and parenthood," and through that, the need for abortion. Of course, he accidentally expressed his opinion in the columns of a magazine that rarely presents the opposition camp or not at all: the stories of women who regretted the abortion or gave birth to their babies despite the difficult circumstances.
The pro-abortion activist is didactic about how grateful she is for her "beautifully boring" abortion and for being able to receive what she considers essential health care. He also explains that he wants people to see what we all stand to lose if the court overturns Roe v. Wade. (This court decision declared in 1973 that termination of pregnancy is a constitutional right. Since it took effect, an estimated 63 million children have been aborted in the United States.)
Vayntrub describes the unstable financial situation she and her boyfriend were living in at the time when she forgot to take the birth control pill: "I had just graduated from university (...) and we did whatever we could to get by: I took on random babysitting jobs, worked in a smoothie shop and performed on the stage of every small theater, wherever they were allowed." The actress immediately knew "what the right decision was" when she saw the two stripes on the pregnancy test.
According to her, her strong moral compass (???) showed her the way, so she didn't agonize over the decision: she didn't want to give birth to a child she couldn't and didn't want to deal with. After that, we can't even be surprised when he says that the abortion itself was no big deal - a simple medical procedure and that's it. For the past ten years, he hadn't even thought about it, except when he thought of those who couldn't have access to this "not so big thing" so easily. Therefore, he believes that abortion should be a "protected human right", calling pro-life laws racist and classist, which he says only aim to control women.
In his reasoning, he therefore urges the United States Congress to pass the Women's Health Protection Act, the deceptively named bill that would legalize the killing of unborn babies for basically any reason up until birth, and force taxpayers to pay for abortions.
The piquancy of the matter is that in 2020 the actress finally gave birth to a child, as she says, after a traumatic birth. According to her, the terrible pain she experienced during the birth of her child made her even more committed to abortion. "I already know how difficult it is to carry and give birth to a child, I know the difficulty of the sleepless nights, the pain of a torn body, the dependence on others" - in her opinion, forcing someone to do all this is cruel.
We sincerely feel sorry for the actress for the traumatic birth experience, but lying to people that all of this can be remedied with a simple abortion is terrifying. Let's hope Vayntrub's unborn child won't read this statement!
