This year, we launched a new service with which the government will further reduce people's administrative burdens, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for territorial administration wrote on his social media page on Sunday.
István György added: with the e-reporter, the public utility transcription and the notification of changed data can be done with a few clicks, on a single online interface at e-bejelento.gov.hu, or in person at any government office in the country.
It is therefore not necessary to visit the utility companies separately, the e-filer will do this for you, he added, urging people to take advantage of the free, simple and fast administrative opportunity through the e-filer service.
In the video he uploaded to his post, he reminded that the government's public administration development and bureaucracy reduction program, which started ten years ago and has brought many improvements in recent years, has reached another milestone.
He explained: the essence of the e-reporting service is that data changes can be reported via an IT interface.
They can use it not only in the event of a change of address, but also in the case of a name change, be it the result of marriage or any other reason, he said.
He recalled: previously you had to contact every utility company or other service provider, you had to make this announcement separately through customer service.
He pointed out: this robbed customers of up to tens of hours of time.
He added: the e-reporter now saves on this, because if this happens on a single interface, via the e-reporter, then those concerned do not have to visit additional customer services.
Either they enter the system from home with a laptop or computer, or those who do not have the opportunity to do so, visit the government window and, with the help of the government window clerks, access the e-reporting service through the customer portal, he said.
He explained: there are about thirty-four utility companies that have already joined the e-reporter. For those who are included in the system, it is sufficient to report this data change once through this system and all utilities will receive this data based on authorization.
