Klára Dobrev said that she would persuade Ukraine to change the language law.
The DK politician also hastened to point out that a possible left-wing government will most definitely stand up for Ukraine's sovereignty. In a Facebook post, Klára Dobrev informed her followers that she had a "long and meaningful" telephone conversation with Ms. Liubov Nepop, Ukraine's ambassador to Hungary.
Dobrev told the ambassador that "the Hungarian government that will be established after April 3 will most definitely stand up for Ukraine's sovereignty and the inviolability of its internationally recognized borders (also by Russia).
According to him, the international community's diplomatic efforts to deter Russia can only lead to results "if none of the NATO or EU member states pursues a separate path policy".
The most interesting part of the post is when Dobrev writes about what tactics he would use to persuade our eastern neighbor to change the language law that seriously violates minority rights. As he writes, a new government "instead of the confrontation that has led to bankruptcy so far, wants to conduct a constructive dialogue in cooperation with Poland and Romania in order to amend the relevant law, so that in this way Ukraine can contribute to the stability of the region."
The post is linked below, and at the same time we draw the attention of our readers to the coincidence that Dobrev illustrated the post with a picture where she is wearing an outfit referring to the Ukrainian national colors.
