Police and soldiers serving on the Serbian border section of Csongrád-Csanád county were attacked by several people on Friday morning, according to a video published on the police's website.
On several occasions, presumably young men gathered on the Vojvodina side of the border threw stun guns and stones at the Hungarian side of the fence, who were wearing shields, helmets and bulletproof vests, trying to prevent border violations.
Based on the recording, among the pieces of wood thrown over the fence were 30-40 cm logs and husángs more than one meter long. One trespasser was holding a slingshot. They also presented the glass balls that were presumably shot with the slingshot to the Hungarian side.
A man appeared several times on the video, standing on top of a ladder propped against the fence and trying to lower another aluminum ladder to the Hungarian side. He repeatedly hit the border guards with the ladder, one of these attacks was only able to be intercepted by one of the policemen with his shield.
