We hear and see, but even so it is hard to believe: a judge of the European Court of Justice, who obviously does not speak Hungarian, "reads out" the text that was probably phonetically written down for him by some Hungarian MEP representatives and NGOs, that on the Hungarian TV news it can be played one by one, 40 or so days before the Hungarian parliamentary election. All this in an unusual way, broadcast live. - writes Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on his social media page.
The big horse's leg is sticking out. If anyone had any doubt that this was a political farce that was both pathetic and laughable, now they are. The Court of Justice of the European Union and the judge himself were put in a humiliating situation (or rather brought himself) and degraded into a political tool.
However, the child protection law will not be decided by Brussels, nor by the European Court of Justice entering the political arena, but by the Hungarian people, just as the future of the country will not be determined by the left-liberal NGOs who pen the verdict, but by the Hungarian citizens on the electoral roll.
