Péter Márki-Zay would send Hungarian soldiers and weapons to Ukraine - this is clear from the interview Gyurcsány's candidate gave to left-wing activist Márton Gulyás a few days ago. He confirmed this yesterday in ATV's Ejenes Beszéd program. - brought by Origo.
In the Internet program, Márki-Zay said that he would even send soldiers to Ukraine. In ATV's Ejenes Beszéd program, he said that he would also send weapons.
We would be very happy to help with everything that NATO's alliance system allows, said Márki-Zay, then when asked if he would even send Hungarian soldiers, he said:
Well, if NATO decides, then even a military one.
In ATV's "Straight Talk" program, he said this on Tuesday evening when asked if he would give weapons to Ukraine:
Hungary must also implement NATO's joint decisions. So, if NATO decides to support Ukraine even with weapons, then of course we will support this as well.
It should be emphasized here that very few countries give weapons to Ukraine, not even Germany. And no one would send soldiers, not even the United States. Márki-Zay, on the other hand, would send Hungarian soldiers to war.
So it is clear that what Péter Márki-Zay is demanding is the left-wing plan approved by Ferenc Gyurcsány: Hungarian weapons and Hungarian soldiers must be sent to Ukraine, fight and even die in a war.
