NGOs want to encourage an invalid vote in the child protection referendum due on April 3. Accordingly, on Monday, they held their joint nationwide campaign opening on Tuesday, Mandiner wrote with reference to the website ervenytelenul.hu.
"In the clearest and safest way, we must express with the invalid vote on all four mock questions that we do not ask for exclusionary mock questions from the government," they write in their statement. According to them, the referendum does not protect anyone, but puts LGBTQI people in danger. The organizations are asking people to visit the campaign website and pledge to vote invalid.
The campaign is supported, among others, by Háttér Társaság, Budapest Pride, Labrisz, the Szivárnýcsáldokért Foundation and noÁr.
