The opinion of Hungary in the eyes of Ukrainians is much worse than that of other EU countries, according to a poll published on the website of European Pravda. The survey was conducted by interviewing a thousand people by telephone on March 18, in all counties of Ukraine, except for the Donbass region and the Crimean peninsula.

The survey, which 444 , examined the perception of various foreign countries among Ukrainians. Unsurprisingly, Russia and Belarus are seen by most respondents as enemy states, while the majority of EU countries are considered friendly.

According to the paper, there was an unusual result regarding two EU member states: Hungary is mentioned first, which only 45 percent of Ukrainians consider friendly, and only 13 percent particularly friendly. In addition, 12 percent believe that their south-western neighbor is particularly hostile towards them.

The paper reminds that a quarter of Fidesz voters blame Ukraine for the war.

In addition, the relationship with the Germans is not particularly positive, even though it is much friendlier than the relationship with the Hungarians: 6 percent of Ukrainians think it is an enemy nation, and only 57 percent think it is a friendly nation.
