Fülöp Kocsis, Archbishop-Metropolitan of the Hajdúdorog Archdiocese, shared his thoughts on the parliamentary elections on April 3, 2022 in a video message published on the Mária Rádió social page.
The head of the Greek Catholic Church stated, among other things:
"I'm sure any responsible thinking person like me would say that. You have to go vote, you have to agree to the decision. In our decision, we consider in whose hands we place our destiny and the leadership of our country.
Being a Christian country, we have to make sure that the leadership of the country is also Christian. We can live our faith, the command we received from Jesus, in such a way that it is also attractive to others. Christians therefore have a special responsibility to go, vote and decide".
