President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Kiev is ready to amend the language law within certain limits, thereby partially providing free language use for the minorities living in the country.

The Ukrainian president is ready to sign a mirror agreement with all neighboring countries, including Hungary, on the use of minority languages, which would guarantee the use of the Hungarian language in Ukraine, including Subcarpathia, and in return would ask for certain preferences for the use of the Ukrainian language in Hungary as well. So Zelensky was no longer as dismissive of the use of minority languages, including Russian, as before. So, if we also include the NATO issue, 2-3 things are starting to take shape in the case of the conditions demanded by the Russians, so this should be welcomed in a tense war situation.

In Transcarpathian news, about 300,000 refugees arrived in Transcarpathia from the war-torn regions of Ukraine in a few weeks. The region can no longer accommodate more people.
