In his new article, Gábor Vona analyzed the reasons for the opposition's electoral failure. The article does not say anything new for those familiar with the former politician's publicisms, however, there is a particularly interesting part in which the former Jobbik president sends a message to the current one, Péter Jakab, namely that he should go and take Ferenc Gyurcsány's place in the DK, since he belongs to that party anyway.
In addition to Gyurcsány's paralyzing presence and Márki-Zay's chaotic communication, there is a third person who bears heavy responsibility for yesterday's result. This is the chairman of Jobbik, Péter Jakab
- writes Gábor Vona in his publicist. According to the former politician, three things could be known for sure before the election: that the vote would depend on the individual constituencies, that it would depend especially on rural voters, and that Jobbik should win in most of them.
A People's Party Jobbik would have been capable of this terribly difficult task. But this was not Jakab's strategy. He turned a characterful, modern conservative party into a one-man Parisian celebrity show. He confused the popularity contest with political performance, wrote Vona, who said that Jakab made Jobbik useless with the pact he made with DK.
Péter Jakab should have thought about it when he came fourth in the primaries as a Facebook superstar, but instead stepped on the gas pedal. He didn't understand that his role was just that
with hebehurgya promotions, entertain and enthuse the DK ladies before they vote for the serious Klára Dobrev, said the former president of Jobbik.
It is not a problem if a politician does scratchy, surprising or funny things, it can even be downright funny. The problem is when a politician's performance is limited to this. If there is no depth behind the performances, if things are getting more and more embarrassing. But this would have been only his personal problem, but the fact that he made Jobbik unintelligible with all of this has already affected the entire opposition, Vona wrote in his article, highlighting that Jobbik did not bring in a single individual, its candidates received fewer votes due to the alliance behind them. than four years ago independently. According to the former politician, with this, Péter Jakab "led Fidesz into another two-thirds". And on the night of the elections, like Gyurcsány, he fled cowardly; he let the unfortunate Márki-Zay hold a press conference with his family members.
In his midnight speech broadcast on Facebook, he reached the lowest point, when he completely bypassed his own responsibility and started kicking the person lying on the ground instead. The discounted Parisian is coming! The best thing for Jobbik would be
if Péter Jakab were to resign, he would give his place to someone at the May reshuffle, and he would go to DK, where he belongs, in place of the retiring Gyurcsány - summed up the former president of Jobbik.
Jakab replied:
When asked whether he intends to resign, Péter Jakab replied: he is not resigning. Four years ago, according to Jakab Gábor Vona, "he left the battlefield ugly and cowardly", "he let his own people down". Péter Jakab also spoke about the fact that at the meeting of the opposition party leaders, the party leaders were united that Péter Márki-Zay was responsible for the election failure.
Responding to the criticism that it was a mistake that Jobbik entered the coalition alongside Gyurcsány, Péter Jakab said: those who claim this have not been in Jobbik for a long time.
The current Jobbik voters could not deal with MZP's statements.
