The number of vaccinated people in Hungary is 6,404,436, of which 6,189,913 received the second, 3,853,458 the third, and 275,434 received the fourth vaccination. 1,542 new infected people were confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 1,874,206 since the beginning of the epidemic. 31, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, so the number of those who died rose to 45,812, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Tuesday.
It was written on the government portal: the number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 1,735,929, and the number of active infected people is 92,465. 1,800 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, 51 of them are on ventilators. They added: the government continues to ensure the possibility of vaccination.
They wrote that the virus still poses the greatest risk to the unvaccinated, so they are asked to be vaccinated.
Vaccination is still recommended for everyone who has not yet requested it. The booster vaccination is also recommended for everyone who received the first dose more than four months ago, they pointed out.
It is still possible to administer the vaccine at hospital vaccination points, family doctors and family pediatricians. The registration and appointment website is constantly open, they wrote.
