Thousands of high school students from the Carpathian Basin can participate in the day and Pentecost programs of the Rákóczi Association.
According to the organization's announcement sent to MTI on Monday, more than three thousand students from 71 high schools will travel to another school with their student travel program on June 4, crossing at least one border.
At dawn on Thursday, June 2, three hundred high school students from the Carpathian Basin and the rest of the world will travel to Csíksomlyo for the Pentecost farewell with the Blessed Virgin Mary Pilgrimage Train. The students going on the pilgrimage represent the Catholic high school organizations of the Rákóczi Association. Another hundred pilgrims from Transcarpathia will leave on June 3 with the Mission's pilgrim train for their farewell with the support of the association and the organization of Mission Tours.
On the occasion of the National Unity Day celebration on June 4, hundreds of students from the Highlands and Hungary will come to Kossuth Square, where they can take part in unusual history lessons organized by the Office of the Parliament, the defining part of which is the Memorial of National Unity, they said.
The Rákóczi Association will organize its central commemoration on June 4 at the Rákóczi camp in Sátoraljaújhely with a thousand secondary schools from the Carpathian Basin, they announced.
