At the plenary session of the European Parliament (EP), representatives discussed the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Instrument. Enikő Győri, the Fidesz EP representative, said after the debate: it is unacceptable that the left wing of the EP continues to pursue witch hunts and even demands that the Hungarian recovery plan not be accepted.
"It is important that the EP follows the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Instrument. However, our country has not yet received the money due to us according to the law. We continue to hear excuses repeated to the point of boredom, even though it is completely clear: there is a political cause behind the dragnet. This was already admitted by the Commission itself at a meeting of the EU economic ministers," said the representative, who also reminded that the head of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, Laura Codruța Kövesi, pointed out how committed Hungary is to cooperation in relation to the EU.
"On the other hand, the left side of the EP continues to blackmail. Due to the approval of the Polish plan, he would even initiate a motion of no confidence against the President of the Commission," emphasized Enikő Győri , underlining: "Hungary is on the front line of the war: it supports the refugees from Ukraine beyond its means and is one of the member states most affected by the economic difficulties caused by the war. I would be happy if my fellow representatives on the left would now instead of creating political discord, devote their energies to strengthening EU unity."
2022plus: Enikő Győri is wrong when he calls the perpetrators of the hunt against Hungary left-wing. They are simply lying scumbags who have nothing to do with real leftism. They are vile haters who are only angered by one thing: reality. We can say a thousand times that the restoration framework is not a donation, that money belongs to us, they are not interested in the law or the arguments in the slightest.
At the same time, it is worrisome that the Hungarian government, which is discussing this, is ready to make certain compromises. It's worrying, because facts prove that you shouldn't make any kind of agreement with these figures in the world, they kick them like a rough defender kicks a striker on goal. Then they wave: "Right, violation of the law! The violator is what we classify as such!"
It is impossible to negotiate with these unscrupulous scoundrels in a diplomatic manner, it would be time to switch to a more aggressive style. What do we have to lose? They couldn't attack us more than that - but maybe they would understand better if they were confronted with their own style.
