According to what can be read in the decision, the government "agrees that Hungary provides additional support to Ukraine in the spirit of solidarity".
Support of several billion forints
The support is for two purposes,
to help the country's internally displaced persons, and the second to rebuild the infrastructure.
The details show that Hungary is sending HUF 875 million to help the refugees, the first half of which will be sent from this year's budget, the second from next year. Hungary is allocating HUF 2.625 billion for the reconstruction, and this is also being sent in two installments.
The government decision also states that Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, must ensure the "full preparation, coordination, and implementation" of tasks related to the support.
