In April, the left suffered a crushing defeat, partly because of this, the question arose for many people as to why six left-wing parties are actually needed in the Parliament. The answer is simple and clear: this is how the left-wing parties want to get billions of forints from taxpayers, since the more factions they have, the more money they can get.

Fidesz recently submitted a bill to put an end to the left's tricks with money, but in order to understand how the money-stealing system worked, we must first examine the previous regulations. Based on this, the left party with only 57 representatives would have been entitled to HUF 256 million per month, which is HUF 60 million more than in the previous cycle. All this in a way that six representatives less made it into the parliament.

THEREFORE, PER REPRESENTATIVE LOST, THE LEFT SIDE GOT RICH BY 10 MILLION HUF PER MONTH.

There was also a large disparity in the distribution between governing parties and left-wing parties. While the left-wing representatives were able to take home HUF 4.5 million in subsidies, the governing parties only received HUF 2.6 million. However, the governing parties have 135 representatives, compared to 57 representatives of the left.

The parties operate from budget money, which in practice means that they receive HUF 2.5 billion annually, 25 percent of which is divided equally among the parliamentary parties, while the remaining 75 percent is distributed based on the votes cast.

However, the support of the parliamentary factions of the parties is different, since it is a much larger amount, HUF 30 billion every four years. The old regulation, on the other hand, would have meant that the left-wing parties would receive 3 billion more in support in this cycle, even though they lost 800,000 voters since 2018.

Taking advantage of factional funding rules, the left obtained ever larger sums by artificially creating more and more factions. It is worth remembering that in 2014 there were only three left-wing factions, this number increased to five in 2018, and now to six, that is, it can be said that left-wing factions are multiplying like mushrooms, but not because of the rain, but because of money.

Máté Kocsis emphasized that everyone who can should participate in defending the country's achievements, including parties and factions. The leader of the Fidesz faction said that HUF 3 billion would be taken from the left-wing parties and HUF 2 billion from the right-wing parties.

Of course, the left-wing parties had a hard time digesting the fact that they have put an end to their trickery and that they can put less money in their pockets. According to Gergely Arató, leader of the Gyurcsány party, the fact that they will not receive three billion more this year is hindering their work, and that they are even more hindering the left's ability to represent the opinion of the voters who voted for it in the parliament.

IT SEEMS IF THERE ARE NO MONEY TRICKS, THEN LEFT-WING REPRESENTATIVES DON'T SEE THE MEANING OF THEIR JOB ANYMORE.

He even came up with the absurd explanation that Fidesz forced him to run on a joint list.
