On the morning of July 12, two truckloads of food and other supplies sent to Ukraine by the Jesuit Refugee Service in cooperation with the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service set off for the charity warehouse of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Münkac. Waberer's, the logistics partner of the Maltese Charity Service, will deliver the shipment to the warehouse in Münkac.

The donation of 66 pallets includes basic and durable food, toiletries and baby care products. "The warehouses of Caritász in the Diocese of Münkacsi are completely empty, so the Hungarian Jesuit Refugee Service has put together a donation specifically for what the Caritász Münkacsi needs," SJ Sajgó Szabolcs, head of the Jesuit Refugee Service, said about the aspects of the compilation. He added that this is their biggest aid shipment to Ukraine since the outbreak of the war. The support was made possible by the larger amount available for civil and church organizations of the government's Hungary Helps program.

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service has been continuously delivering aid shipments to support the needy people who remained in Transcarpathia. The next shipment, also amounting to two trucks, will leave for Beregszász from the Maltese logistics center on July 14.
