Today, the Parliament can accept the 2023 budget bill.
At the meeting, which started at 9:00 a.m., for one and a half hours, pre-agenda speeches will be given for the first time. After that, the final vote of 15 submissions will be held.
There will be a decision on the 2023 budget and the bill establishing it, but they will also decide, among other things, on a government proposal that changes the rules of remote gambling and amends certain economic regulation laws.
The representatives are voting on the proposed parliamentary resolution on the Hungarian position to be represented regarding the future of the European Union, which, among other things, initiates the delegation of the representatives of the European Parliament (EP) by the national parliaments.
The eleventh amendment to the Basic Law of Hungary requires two-thirds support, based on which the EP and municipal elections will be held on the same day from 2024. This proposal also includes the renaming of counties to counties.
Deputies can also decide on the transformation of faction financing by amending the parliamentary law.
