The Demszky era returned with the mayorship of Gergely Karácsony. Gergely Karácsony does what Gábor Demszky does: nothing. He just complains and argues with the government. A staff member of Vasarnap.hu spoke with Gábor Bagdy, the president of the Christian Democratic People's Party's capital organization.
- What is the situation of the capital now?
- When we took over the management of Budapest in 2010 with the mayorship of István Tarlós In addition, BKV had an operating deficit of HUF 70 billion. It was a very heavy inheritance, but in nine years it was possible to cut down this huge debt.

It is clear that Gergely Karácsony does what Gábor Demszky : nothing. He just complains and argues with the government. Budapest is the nation's capital, the home of all Hungarians.
Therefore, many investments are needed that affect the entire country.
– Savings have dried up, but what happened during this time?
- During the two and a half years, essentially nothing happened in Budapest. We also saw that Gergely Karácsony, instead of dealing with his duties as mayor, cherished grand political dreams - with little success.
