Thanks to e-mail, a picture came to me. It shows Merkel and Putin at one of their meetings. Merkel - who also represents the EU here - is kept in suspense by the fact that before traveling to Moscow, she may have forgotten to turn on the gas at home. Putin reassures him that he has already closed it.

Thick. After all, everyone knows from the news how this situation developed. In the western half of Europe, Germany primarily needs Russian gas imports. He counted like that for a long time. That is why the North Stream I and II were born. In the light of the numbers: according to 2020 data, of the EU's annual consumption of 394 billion cubic meters, the EU's own extraction accounted for only 54 billion cubic meters. The import this year was 326 billion cubic meters, which corresponds to 82.7 percent of the total consumption.

Hungary used to receive gas through Ukraine, but the deterioration of Russian-Ukrainian relations made this route dangerous. There was an example of the complete cessation of imports from Ukraine. In 2006, the maximum restriction was 30-40 percent, and in 2009, the supply was stopped when the pipelines were closed with a slide gate. (Slovakia was also in a similar situation at the time.) Because of this, we had to achieve that the center of gravity of the transport was transferred to a southern route coming from the Balkans. Today, about 30 million cubic meters of natural gas arrives in Hungary every day, and more than half of this is via the southern transport route, i.e. via Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia. Currently, the Hungarian government has already decided to buy natural gas in addition to the long-term contracts, as much as can be physically stored in natural gas storage facilities in Hungary until the beginning of the heating season.

While in Germany, which is Europe's leading economic power, the loss of gas from the east could mean a shutdown of public supply and industry, in the USA the ban on the purchase of Russian oil and gas is not a serious problem, because Russian imports there are insignificant. Europe is much more exposed to Russian exports: 30 percent of oil imports and 39 percent of natural gas imports come from Russia. But the leaders of the EU are still diligently sawing the tree branch they are sitting on. They pushed through the 6 packages of anti-Russian sanctions and constantly raise the issue of the gas embargo. This makes it clear that they are pursuing an overseas interest. After all, it is clear that Europe could only be an independent partner in the world economy if there is a large continental cooperation, and in this the competitiveness of cheap Russian oil and gas is a question. And this can not only be inferred, but according to the news of "The Guardian" in March, it can be known from the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken , that the US is very actively negotiating with its allies to jointly decide on a boycott of the entire purchase of Russian crude oil and natural gas.

Earlier, this force bent Merkel's waist to give up the Russian gas procurement plan (e.g. the smoothed-over scandal of her wiretapping from America), and now the leaders of the EU have joined the ranks. They try to cover it up with beautiful words and the imposition of astonishingly advanced principles - such as the recognition of men's right to give birth! - and to dissuade everyone from independent thinking through false proceedings - especially against our country - and through a press campaign. The real danger is that once the population of Western Europe turns against the rulers. If the people of Europe realize that the leadership of the EU not only does not represent them well, but also specifically serves other interests.

What a joke! While they are working against the existence of a nation-state, they are now flying the Ukrainian flag - together with the rainbow one!

The imaginary dialogue between Merkel and Putin is therefore very apt. Because really: after the leading personalities of our European Union are constantly scratching their heads over anti-Russian sanctions - what if the Russian side becomes "proactive"? He has only just started to reduce deliveries, and he has already been accused of "using gas deliveries as a weapon". But if the EU took such a step anyway, why the wailing?

With a saying from Molière's play, in such cases they say "Tu l'as voulu, George Dandin!" (You wanted it, Gyuri Duda!)
