Dear friends!
I recommend for your attention the following proposed amendment to the law in the matter of overhead reduction, in view of the critical voices of the opposition and the delicate taste of the EU.
Submit an independent representative's motion in the Parliament. Any Hungarian citizen should exercise his right to pay world market prices for energy, especially gas and electricity.
Utility providers must be obliged to settle according to the contracts amended based on the above.
Do we live in a democracy or not?
Those who wish to continue to pay the reduced utility prices thanks to the Hungarian state should stay with this scheme, but those who do not should pay the world market price.
Everyone is doing well: utilities get higher income, the state gets more taxes, and opposition critics can finally sit back satisfied.
The parliamentary vote can have two results:
The opposition votes. Then, after a certain period of time, the unified opposition should be asked to present a copy of their amended utility contracts. If they don't, there's no further reason to grumble.
The opposition will not vote for it. Then why did they campaign for higher prices? I do not understand. Here would have been the opportunity. And the circle closes.
