The aim of the progressive ideology is to dismantle the traditional, organic units of society, to create individual and minority identities instead of the majority identity and traditional communities. They hope that in this way they can more easily influence societies - Levente Szikra told Magyar Nemzet. The newspaper asked the analyst of the Fundamental Rights Center about the fact that Viktor Orbán outlined five urgent challenges affecting our nation in his speech in Tusnádfürdő, the third of which he named the issue of gender.
The noise of war is currently obscuring this topic, so it is less talked about, but this does not mean that the danger has completely passed. More and more attempts will have to be prevented, as the progressive movements have not given up on realizing their fever dreams in Hungary as well. At the same time, measured in historical perspective, I think that gender theory, like other extreme ideologies, will one day become a thing of the past. Until then, however, it is necessary to resist, this ideology is currently very strong, the danger is therefore current and serious - Levente Szikra told Magyar Nemzet.
The past decades have shown that the processes of the Western world often appear in our country, regardless of whether it is a desirable or harmful process. The left-wing, progressive movements in Hungary are also constantly working on this gender issue.
Therefore, I think it is irresponsible to sweep the topic under the carpet by saying that this is only the case abroad, because there is a serious danger that Hungary will not survive the attempts to evacuate families, Levente Szikra said.
He reminded us that the infiltration has already started in our country, "just think about the story books that influence children or the gender sessions held in some schools".
The analyst stated that the problem is real, and the sooner we take action against it, the easier it will be to prevent its widespread spread.
According to the analyst, the ultimate goal is to ensure that society does not have such stable foundations as the family and marriage between a man and a woman, since in the absence of these, instead of natural communities, individuals and created minority groups come to the center, which breaks down social cohesion, but it also brings mental problems on an individual level.
Gender ideology is based on a few simple tricks. One of them is that, according to the theory, gender identity is determined not by biology, but by the individual's personal feelings – that is, everyone is the gender they think they are, the analyst said.
As he detailed, the basis of the whole idea therefore comes from a denial of science, since it is a basic school biology curriculum that sex is determined by chromosomes, and one cannot change that decision. And the other main trick is to wrap it all in a human rights garb.
They claim that what the individual desires, he has the right to immediately.
However, according to his claim, this is not the case, the scope of human rights is clearly defined in the Basic Law, it cannot be expanded arbitrarily, especially with non-personal desires.
He explained that supporters of gender theory want to avoid democratic decision-making and free debate, because they know that otherwise they will fail.
Their goal is to break down the traditional, organic units of society, to create individual and minority identities instead of the majority identity and traditional communities. They hope that this will make it easier for them to influence societies.
The child protection referendum was a huge success for the right-wing, as many more people voted for the government's position than supported the re-election of the government. It can therefore be stated that there is a large social majority that goes beyond party sympathies and is the most dangerous part of gender ideology, against the ideological re-education of children. The Hungarian government and the Parliament have sufficient authority to continue to protect the institution of the traditional family and the biological sex, said Levente Szikra.
