- I confirm Prime Minister Orbán's words that Poland and Hungary have parted ways - said on Friday, referring to Viktor Orbán's speech in Tusványosi.
The Hungarian Prime Minister stated at Tusnádfürdő that the war in Ukraine shocked Polish-Hungarian relations, the goals of the two countries are common, at the same time, while Hungary sees the conflict as a war between two Slavic peoples, the Poles see it as their own fight.
In response, Morawiecki said that Poland is not a party to the war, Warsaw is only trying to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression. He added that the heroic struggle of the Ukrainians is supported with weapons, as is the case with the United States, Great Britain and almost all European countries. The purpose of this is for Ukraine to be able to protect its sovereignty, said the Polish Prime Minister.

Situations can be judged from a different perspective, everyone has the right to do so, but that does not necessarily mean that my friend should be denied. Historically, the "hate" of the Poles towards the Russians is understandable, but if you look at it this way, the Germans didn't treat them any better either. Yet they drag me there, because they, like many EU countries, serve the interests of the USA. The Polish government got in line as soon as they received money from the union (or a promise that they would receive it, but the money "doesn't want" to arrive there yet), not a single word has been heard about the previous proceedings against them. As we know, money talks, the dog barks, and Mateusz Morawiecki took note of this, as well as the fact that the V4 was always looked down upon in the EU and that is why they influenced the Czech and Slovak elections. Of course, there is also the question of how long the position of the conservative Poles will remain with this rubbing.
