Although cataclysms redrawing our daily lives and the political map - the epidemic or the war in Ukraine - are otherwise understandably pushed into the background, there is a kind of right-wing rebel effervescence in the wider world. We should not only or directly think of election results here, but of the networking that has finally started on the conservative side in recent years. The CPAC in Dallas is another step in the direction of finally realizing the liberals' nightmare, the international unification of national forces.
In this, Hungary has a role far exceeding its formal weight. I am not only referring to the exemplary nature of the government's performance here, but also to the fact that the Hungarian right-wing hinterland has also stepped onto the international stage, the engine of "organization" . The Center for Fundamental Rights became part of the "CPAC family" this year: we organized the first European CPAC, and this year we will be on the main stage again. But I could talk here about the foreign relations work of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, the Danube Institute and many other organizations, all of which serve to ensure that a living relationship exists below the level of official bilateral or direct party political relations, which is much more exposed to daily events, but interpreted on a much wider spectrum , a personal "network" among conservatives. So far, we have been at a disadvantage compared to the liberals, and now we are starting to bring it in - and that is why they are angry. Which, of course, is a good sign in terms of our success.
