Nyina Khrushcheva evaluates Viktor Orbán's statement about the rejection of racial mixing a week ago, that the "far-right populists" no longer think they should hide their thoughts. According to him, for years they only incited in code, with hints, but what they only dared to say indirectly, they are now flooding the world with - Khrushcheva writes all this on the website of the Prague-based media organization called Project Syndicate - read on Mandiner .
The professor of the American New School, the grandson of the former Soviet Party General Secretary György Soros, explains in his newspaper that during his long "reign" the Hungarian Prime Minister said "a lot of bullshit", but with Tusványos he reached a new low. But instead of being ostracized for the racist message, he writes, he was able to give one of the keynote speeches in Dallas. The summer university in Tusványos was a remarkable moment of striking honesty for the prime minister, because until now he had tried to wrap up his anti-Semitism and racism, the lady explains.
He adds: “For most of the past decade, leaders of the global far-right have only covertly expressed their viscerally racist beliefs, with the exception of Trump. But now they apparently believe that they no longer need to hide if they want to come to power.
In the USA, this trend is due to the previous president. The kulturkampf has already poisoned so many minds that some politicians simply believe that if they are openly racist, sexist and anti-LGBT, then this is a straight path to victory for them. So now they drop the mask and reveal their true face.”
2022 plus:
Who would have thought that the grandson of Khrushchev, who received a communist education - how come he is not a professor at the American New School - would think that he should criticize the Hungarian Prime Minister, and not his former country. Of course, he may still be a Russian citizen, so he doesn't talk about it to avoid being on the banned list in Europe. Although this is unlikely, because as it turned out, Soros is a friend, and as we know, liberal democrats and communists are on the same page. And there is absolutely nothing to be surprised that Khrushcheva did not publish her far-reaching thoughts on an American news portal, but on the website of the Prague-based media organization called Project Syndicate under the authority of György Soros.
