With the president of the Democratic Coalition at the helm, the left itself proves the truth of the government, that the extraordinary parliamentary sessions initiated by the opposition are discredited and can only be considered a political bluff and mood-raising. The fallen prime minister did not appear at the extraordinary meeting on Monday, just like last February, which he himself was one of the initiators of.
- The government is not interested in the fate of the people - the opposition politicians insisted at the extraordinary session of the parliament on Monday, which they initiated, at which they wanted to achieve the abolition of the death penalty law and the "elimination" of the utility increase. At the same time, the Government Information Center announced: the left did not support the measures to protect Hungarian families even during the war crisis, they attacked the utility reduction from its introduction, and they did not even vote for the introduction of the kata tax, which is why members of the government will not participate in the meeting.
However, although the opposition tried in vain to accuse the government of being disinterested, it soon became clear that this was much more characteristic of them. A dozen left-wing representatives did not go to the extraordinary meeting they initiated, led by Ferenc Gyurcsány, who was "in the making". But among those absent were Péter Jakab (Jobbik), Bertalan Tóth (MSZP), András Jámbor (Párbeszéd) and László Sebián-Petrovszki (DK).
Momentum announced a demonstration for Monday afternoon, but hardly any sympathizers showed up at the event.
This is not the first time that the leftists themselves prove the truth of the government, that the extraordinary parliamentary sessions initiated by them can only be considered to create mood. It should be remembered: the events took place according to a similar scenario in February last year, when the left initiated an extraordinary meeting under the pretext of epidemic measures. The representatives of the governing party also did not go along with this, stressing that it is a political bluff, which is another tool for the opposition to attack the defense against the epidemic.
