If one says that Gergely Karácsony failed miserably again, then this statement hardly reaches the stimulus threshold. Indeed, during his almost three-year reign, the mayor has already stated so many times that the exact opposite was true, that an ordinary Hungarian person in his place would have buried himself in shame a long time ago.
However, Christmas looks at the camera with a teflon face and pretends that nothing happened. When it turns out again, in black and white, that he himself and the entire left are pro-war, when it turns out that since Hungary is on the side of peace, he thinks it means the wrong side in the military conflict, when he trusts that the Union can lead further sanctions against Russia , for which he can extort the support of Hungary, because he can force our country to do this through maneuvering with EU funds, then he does not say a peep about it on his social media page, which is used to talk about otherwise uninteresting topics. And he listens even when MSZP co-president Ágnes Kunhalmi loudly challenges her in the parliament just yesterday when right-wing speakers talk about the left as pro-war.
Which is true anyway, Gergely Karácsony said this honestly. Of course, he thought he was talking to the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaly Klitschko, and there were two Russian comedians on the other side of the line, it was just their prank.
Izvesztyija reported that Vovan and Lexus published a video recording on their Telegram channel of their conversation with the mayor of Budapest on behalf of the mayor of Kyiv Vitalij Klitschko.
That's how it is when a person has multiple answers to the same question. When he speaks to Hungarian voters, he shows his prettier face, the anti-war one. And if you talk to someone who belongs to the foreign interests of the left, because he can be connected to the European Union or György Soros, then he does not take the trumped-up card, but the real card, the pro-war one.
It is worth reading what Gergely Karácsony said to the two comedians, whom he thought were Vitalij Klitschko personally. Since the conversation - with the help of an interpreter - was conducted in English, Karácsony did not say a single word in English.
"The Hungarian government is on the wrong side in this conflict and it is very difficult to enforce the sanctions. But I am glad that the sanctions package was created and that Hungary was ultimately unable to prevent it. If there are further sanctions, the European Union will put the government under a lot of pressure, and since the Hungarian government is in need of European Union support due to the acquisition of European Union funds, the Commission and thus the European Union have the means to better it gives the Hungarian government discretion as to whether it wants to pursue a policy of further sanctions."
Do you think that István Tarlós could have remained in his position as mayor with such double-minded behavior that regularly misleads voters?
