Solving the issue of national minorities is the key to long-term peace and stability, Prime Minister's Acting Katalin Szili declared to MTI on Sunday after giving a lecture at the Zoltán Fábry Public Life and Literary Days event in the Highlands.
The prime minister's representative gave a lecture entitled The Stószi hermit and the nation at an event organized by the largest Hungarian social and cultural organization in the Uplands, Csemadok , at the Zoltán Fábry public life and literary days, which was held on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the birth of one of the most significant figures of Hungarian literature and public life in the Uplands yes.
In Katalin Szili's presentation, she talked about the topicality of the Hungarian writer's findings in her writings about being a minority.
He explained: Fábry saw the full realization of equality and solidarity in European unification, but the past 18 years have proven that Brussels does not want to deal with the issue of indigenous national minorities. The prime minister's agent pointed out:
Instead, Brussels considers the issue of indigenous national minorities entirely an internal matter of the individual member states, even though it is clear that only the solution of the issue of minorities can be the key to the creation of long-term peace and stability.
Katalin Szili stated: - With a new type of close cooperation - going beyond the 20th century - involving the countries of the Carpathian Basin, a new prosperous center of gravity can be created in Europe.
