The German newspaper Die Tageszeitung reported that our country receives even more gas from Russia. They explained that while Europe is desperately looking for a way to get gas in another way, Hungary is getting even more gas from Russia.
According to the article, our country will receive an additional 2.6 million cubic meters of Russian gas per day until the end of August.
It was noted that the negotiations between Hungary and Russia about Russian deliveries in September are still ongoing and that the rest of Europe must reduce its gas consumption by at least 15 percent in winter.
The paper noted that Orbán achieved three things with this "Hungarian special road": in the paper's words, he gets cheap energy from his friend Vladimir Putin, annoys the EU, which wants to act as a united ally against Russia, and signals to his compatriots that with the ruler of the Kremlin his friendship pays off. According to them, Hungary's "opportunistic energy policy" cannot be handled with the EU's constitutional mechanisms.

Three more comments from our modesty: business is not a matter of friendship, the West is not at all ashamed to buy oil from Arab countries that have been at war for decades, the behavior of the alliance is not based on emotions at all, it is the case that Hungary has interests and not friends.
