The left-wing parties do not support the re-election of Csaba Horváth, Péter Gajda, and Márta V. Naszályi (pictured) in 2024 either, Magyar Hírlap predicted. A preliminary agreement that could have been concluded between the DK and Momentum was leaked to the portal, the two left-wing parties would essentially divide Budapest between themselves before the next municipal elections.

- The Democratic Coalition and Momentum see that the time has come for the dominance of these two parties in the 2024 local government election to prevail in the capital during the opposition coalition. Among the socialist mayors, only József Tóth, the mayor of Angyalföld, would hold out, while the Párbeszéd would have to settle for Gergely Karácsony remaining the opposition's joint candidate for mayor in 2024, Magyar Hírlap reported in its article today .

Referring to its own information, the portal writes that the Gyurcsány party and Momentum, which operates as its youth wing, would thereby settle the MSZP's Csaba Horváth in Zugló and Péter Gajda in Kispest. It is worth noting that both left-wing mayors won the district leadership seat in 2019 with an absolute majority.

The left wing dominated by the Gyurcsánys would also withdraw its support from the dialogic mayor of the 1st district, Márta V. Naszályi - the paper drew another conclusion. Magyar Nemzet previously reported that V. Naszályi would have been the co-chairman of the Párbeszéd, but previously he lost his majority in the representative body in the district he led, so he backed away from such symbolic matters as, for example, the support of the Átrium private theater . According to Magyat Nemzet's information, this failure also blew the lid off the capital's leadership, and the mayor's powers were significantly curtailed at the last council meeting thanks to the LMP's re-voting.
