The Civil Guard is preparing for the start of the school year with increased service.
As in previous years, the civil guards are paying special attention to the safety of children around schools and kindergartens this year. In order to do this, in cooperation with the police, the area around the educational institutions is monitored more frequently in the morning and in the afternoon. Help with traffic management, safe use of pedestrian crossings, prevention of illegal acts against children, and strengthen their drug prevention patrol services.
In settlements where there is no education, the civil guards closely monitor public transport stops for the safety of children going to and from school.
The Civil Guard maintains an intensive presence in the vicinity of schools and kindergartens for a month, but there are settlements where the Civil Guard are present near the institutions both in the morning and in the afternoon throughout the school year.
