While the ostriches of the Union are crowing that the sanctions against Russia are working, if they were willing to pull their heads out of the sand, they would see that they are very much not. On the contrary, they are successful if their goal is to liquidate Europe and push it into poverty.
This is pretty much what the Union's politicians do - with respect to the few exceptions - as Steve Mcqueen cites the absurd story in the movie "Sniper Seven". The man who fell from the tenth floor. While falling, he said: So far so good... so far so good...
Well, according to the supporters of the sanctions, so far so good. But even this is not true in their case, as the numbers prove.
As reported by Origo, the fact that Europe plays embargo has brought huge profits to Gazprom. Profits like you've never seen before! It posted a record net profit of 2.5 trillion rubles ($41.75 billion) in the first half of 2022, and its board has proposed an interim dividend.
Is this what the bigoted Brussels bureaucrats call effective?
Of course, they have already called many things many things. Illegal, forced migration is a fundamental human right, LGBTQ aberrations are a greatness to be celebrated and propagated, they have already made a decision about what is impossible, that is, that men can also give birth. For example, they called the anti-democratic vote on the acceptance of the collection of lies mocking the Sargentini report as democratic, and they have the nerve to call abortion and feticide "sexual and reproductive health". Why can't I call total failure a success? What's in it for them?
On the contrary, it costs a lot to the citizens of Europe. The incompetent EU leaders will pay the price for their false solidarity with them. We are moaning about the burdens of runaway inflation, we are looking forward to a frosty winter due to the energy shortage, they - with a monthly income of several million - will have no problem with this. And they don't care that the facts prove that Europe really shot itself in the lung. And he rigidly refuses medical help.
And those who still believe that the sanctions policy is successful after all this, just boldly say "So far so good... so far so good".
We're just saying: we're running out of floors...
