From today, you have to pay more for parking in Budapest, in the inner districts it costs HUF 600 per hour, after the new unified parking system in the capital consisting of four zone types came into force.
At its meeting on June 29, the Metropolitan Assembly decided to introduce a transparent, clear, uniform parking system consisting of four zone types instead of the 27 types of parking zones, and to increase the parking fees.
In zone A, parking costs HUF 600 per hour and the fee must be paid between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., in zone B the hourly fee is HUF 450 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., in zone C it is HUF 300 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and in the D-zone HUF 200, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. You can park for a maximum of three hours in the ABC zones, in the D-zone this is not limited.
