Now the Hungarians are helping the Romanians. The Királyhágómelléki Reformed Church District (KREK) has accepted that, in addition to the nine Hungarian-language classes of the Nicolae Balcescu Primary School in Nagyvárad, it will accommodate two Romanian-language classes in the building offered to the school free of charge.
Bishop István Csýry informed MTI about the agreement reached on Monday. He said: an additional protocol was attached to the original contract with the mayor's office, which suspends the provision of the original contract that the school's Hungarian language classes will be admitted to the building.
"In addition to the nine classrooms, we have two more rooms in which we can set up classrooms. If it is necessary, if they are in trouble, we are happy to accommodate two Romanian-language classes," the bishop said.
