According to the Democratic Coalition, the Orbán government is fighting against the EU gas price cap because it represents Russian interests. The vice-president of the opposition party, László Varju, reminded in his online press conference on Monday: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced that the cabinet does not support the introduction of the EU gas price cap.

"The government insists on seven times the gas price, it even goes against Europe," assessed the DK representative. He added: Viktor Orbán, there is a utility increase and a crisis in Hungary. "Hungarian families may even freeze, Viktor Orbán insists on seven times the gas price even against the European Union, so that Putin has money to kill people in Ukraine," said László Varju.

Fidesz reacted to Varju's statement as follows:

"The campaign of the left is paid for from abroad, which is why they have always supported the sanctions, the Gyurcsánys would have turned off the oil and gas tap a long time ago. This irresponsible and dangerous left-wing policy would only deepen the energy crisis caused by sanctions, putting families in danger and ruining Hungary. According to Fidesz-KDNP, the current idea in Brussels would actually be another sanction, which is why we do not support it. We are still not willing to give up the security of the energy supply, and we are not willing to put the Hungarian people in a situation where they have nothing to heat or cook with. Thanks to the government's measures, there will be gas and enough electricity in Hungary, and by maintaining the reduction in utilities, energy will remain one of the cheapest in Europe."

2022plus: We can't believe that a DK representative - even if it's Varju - doesn't know that he's talking nonsense. He knows very well that it is sheer nonsense to blame the increase in utilities on the prime minister, he knows that it is caused by the catastrophic stupidity, almost suicidal manipulations of his comrades. He also knows it, because he might be able to read what would happen if the Union introduced a price cap: The Putins would immediately shut off all gas taps.

Varju also knows this, but he just hasn't been instructed to think rationally, or if that doesn't work for him, at least not to crow back and forth. No, ladies and gentlemen, Crows have to snap their beaks because that's what they're paid for. Maybe not directly, but they are paying. From outside, the left-wing, Libsi parties. They have to croak, because you have to work for the Jewish money. It does not matter that the interests of the Hungarian population are exactly what they are going against, because the German foreign minister also said that he does not care what the voters want. And the Varjus serve the same master as the German government, so why should it be important to them what the voters want, what is their interest?

The same can be said about the leader of the party called Jobbik, Márton Gyöngyösi. Perhaps the difference is that he (his statement on N1TV is proof of this) doesn't even understand what he says, but he does it confusedly. But they also live from the same market...

What can we say to that? Whoa!
