The aim of the internship program is to:
Acquainting young people who embrace civic, national and Christian values and are active in public life with the operation and professional work of a party foundation and, through this, with Hungarian public life.
What we expect:
- at the time of submitting the application and expectedly in the academic year 2022/2023, the applicant is an active student at a higher education institution - within the framework of a bachelor's or master's degree - and has at least two completed semesters;
– at least a 3.5 academic average in the spring semester of the 2021/2022 academic year;
– public activity and basic political awareness;
- at least intermediate knowledge of foreign languages, proven by a language test (English and/or German);
- good communication ability;
- user-level computer skills.
You can apply by submitting the following documents simultaneously, by post or electronically:
– completely filled and signed application data sheet;
– a professional resume with a photo;
– university/college study textbook or equivalent authentic document;
– 2022/2023. student status certificate for the autumn semester of the academic year;
- a photocopy of a diploma already obtained (if the applicant has one);
– photocopy of language test certificate(s);
– professional recommendation from a university lecturer;
– letter of recommendation from a public figure;
- cover letter.
What we offer in the internship program:
- participation in the Foundation's day-to-day operations and activities (events-training, press monitoring, translation, correspondence, civil relations building);
- insight into the organization's scientific and educational work (systematization, preparation of background materials and analyses);
- opportunity to participate in diverse, interesting and professional development events, in the most diverse areas: political topics, international relations, political communication;
– 3-month duration (The applicant should indicate at least two suitable periods from the following:
o November 2022 - January 2023
o February 2023 - April 2023
o May 2023 - July 2023
o August 2023 - October 2023
The preferred duration can be overridden by the program organizer.
- during the selected three-month subsidized period, the internship program requires approximately 10 hours of personal presence per week at our Foundation's headquarters in Budapest, and participation in our events is also mandatory;
– in addition to the three-month subsidized period, there will be mandatory programs on a monthly basis during the entire period of the internship program (from November to October);
- scholarship: net HUF 70,000/month.
