It is very gratifying, and may even be life-saving, that the heart-to-heart debate was sparked by those who avoided power in frustration.
Are we looking forward to a hot autumn in the end? The Patent Association, financed mainly from abroad and fueled from behind, is organizing a demonstration on September 28, which, if we didn't know: the world day of access to safe abortion. Patents are certainly among the victims who, due to last year's child protection law, would no longer be able to hold "enlightening and sensitizing school sessions" about sex.
Although the feminist-lmbtq patentees could not become the protagonists of the heart-sound debate if they wanted to, the words of one of their activists, Krisztina Les, ringing in a TV show: "The fact that abortion is legal does not mean that it is accessible!" His colleague, Júlia Spronz, talks about stealthy rigor. Because "for twelve years, the right of women to have access to an abortion has been narrowing".
Oh, the strange touches of aliens, oh these strange "accesses"! Of course, the Patent did not address the fact that life is being destroyed in the name of access to abortion.
So it's easy to elevate women's self-determination over the lives of fetuses, isn't it?
However, if this patent view prevails in society, then the mother-to-be does not have access to information, what is more, to the truth and to this consideration. Only for the scraper. (Curette = scraping spoon.)
It is suspicious that instead of a curettage, there should be a harvest of children in Hungary, where the population is still unstoppably shrinking, we are one million fewer than at the time of the regime change. And then there is a chance to hear a sincere word or a pleading heart.
In today's young generations, there is already a realization that a committed relationship and starting a family is a good thing.
Who dares to doubt the significance of the fact that between 2010 and 2021, the number of marriages in the country more than doubled, that last year 72,000 people got married and less than 15,000 divorced, because the number of divorces has been decreasing since 2015? Why should it be negligible that couples would have more children than are realized? This government is certainly not perfect, but there is no doubt: it has adapted its bold and generous family policy to this.
What the government did not do, however: was to pass one of the most liberal "foetus protection" laws in the world. As a result of the legislation voted in 1992, the vast majority of abortion applicants continue to live with a wide-open loophole: they refer to their "severe crisis situation" and do not have to prove it. Thus, the number of abortions last year was still 22,000.
Only a newborn's breath has changed now,
not even the law, but the minister's executive order. They made it part of the medical findings, which in most cases already happened anyway, since the expectant mother requesting an abortion has usually heard the heartbeat up until now. It's all about this: "The presented medical report records that the health care provider presented the factor indicating the functioning of fetal vital functions to the pregnant woman in a clearly identifiable manner."
The Czechs didn't delay, they flew to Brussels on their stick blenders so that they could whisper before the rule of law verdict against the Hungarians: the Orbán government violates human rights here as well. Do they feel that the minister's decision is such a danger, which could also result in some of those considering abortion giving their fetuses a pardon?
For sure, if a fetus hears about itself under the mother's heart, it can slow the story down a bit.
The decision will no longer be so automatic when a small child knocks imploringly.
But there is something else here. If it becomes public knowledge: the abortion applicant will have to listen to the voice of the heart, it can make many think more responsibly well in advance. Of course, I am not thinking of Sándor Csintalan, who, pretending to be involved, got so carried away in the Magyar Hang's video program, Kötöttfogs: "They're going around my pumpkin and my wife's panties?!" The law can indeed have some teaching power for the members of society in general, in particular for us to be responsible in choosing a partner, in a relationship, for men and women to have a responsible attitude towards the fact that fetal life is also life.
It is very gratifying that those who have avoided power in frustration since then started the heart-to-heart debate. Pro-death party politicians, opinion makers and pseudo-civilians selling their hatred of men (see: Patent = Anti-Patriarchate Society) unwittingly took it as evidence that the fetus is still alive. Well, of course he lives: heart-pounding and heart-pounding.
It cannot be the government's goal that a pregnant woman has to listen to the heartbeat in order to increase her mental burden. But for everyone to think well in advance about the value of life, the unsustainability of taking life, forward-looking or unperspective sexual relations, blessed commitment or the risk of giving in to momentary pleasures.
Every man, every woman, think about it
as an unchangeable decree, new life is always conceived and developed in a female body - ideally until birth...
What a lie that the left-wing parties claim, that the insensitive government wants to take the woman away with her, just because the latter has to apply for a state permit. Are the liars actually suggesting that the pregnant woman's hairdresser or the police should investigate and produce the person who made her pregnant so that he too can listen to the fetus's heartbeat?
I think that the goal of the small change introduced in the annex to the law is that, preferably, not during the abortion application process, but during a happy pregnancy, the expectant mother is happy to listen to the "fetal vital function". And if it doesn't happen in such an ideal way, then those who carry a fetus under their heart can find catharsis online, give in to their conscience, take on the responsibility of carrying their child and, if possible, raising it, even without a partner. If he makes the noble decision, he will receive support from Felül and the Hungarian state.
I hear somewhat conflicting reports. Fidesz wants to reshape society with the "heartbeat decree" instead of finally making it "equal". The Orbáns are stupid male chauvinists, while as a diversion they slyly jump on social groups about their loss of popularity. Also - with a two-thirds majority? amid midterm election victories? - he wants to take the wind out of the sails of Mi Házánk...
I would like to mention only one:
the present opposition wants to gather votes again where it will not succeed.
Just for a moment, don't go to their official nest-hiding pages, take a look at how much the "average" Hungarian nest-hiding person posts about their children, grandchildren, and family!
