The funeral of Mária Wittner, honorary citizen of Dunakeszi, the last person sentenced to death in 1956, will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the cemetery plot in Dunakeszi.
Mária Wittner is a hero of the Hungarian nation. In 1956, he fought with a gun for the freedom of our people. Freed from the throat of death, until the end of his life, as a true spiritual patriot, what was in his heart was also spoken on his lips.
We honor our freedom fighter hero among the greats of Hungarian history.
