Mária Wittner died on September 14, 2022. The freedom fighter of the 1956 revolution, the former member of parliament of Fidesz, was buried yesterday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also participated in the ceremony.
Viktor Orbán has now shared a picture of the funeral on his official Facebook page, in which he also writes that if I have to explain to my grandchildren what it means to be a Hungarian hero, I will be one of the first to tell them the story of Mária Wittner. God rest her soul!
