Today in Western Europe and Brussels, they deny that when the first round of sanctions was introduced, the expectation was that the sanctions would help end the war sooner, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó in a video published on Facebook on Saturday.
Among other things, the minister highlighted:
"The biggest admission of the complete failure of sanctions is the denial today in Western Europe and Brussels that when the first round of sanctions was introduced, the expectation was that the sanctions would help end the war sooner." He then emphasized: "the European Union only wants to introduce more and more sanctions in order to somehow justify its own faulty decisions that caused extremely serious damage".
