Edit Barabásné Forgács (Fidesz-KDNP) won the mayoral election in Kenderes in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, where six members of the representative body were also elected in the interim voting held on Sunday.

According to the information on the website of the National Elections Office, 1104 votes were cast for Edit Barabásné Forgács, who is running in the colors of the Fidesz-KDNP, while among the three independent candidates, Péter Szabolcs Bogdán (former mayor) received 318 votes, Ferenc József Horváth 165 votes, and Csaba Szabó 10 votes.
