"With the award of the Foundation for Civil Hungary, this time we pay tribute to an organization whose members are humble, highly knowledgeable and courageous guardians of our spiritual sovereignty, who not only give strength, but also set an example for Hungarians who believe in God, country and family," emphasized House Speaker László Kövér. at the evening award ceremony, with which the Batthyhány Circle of Professors was honored this year, read in Magyar Nemzet.
The Batthyhány Circle of Professors, made up of university professors and professor-ranked researchers, was awarded the Civic Hungary Award for the recognition of the cooperation of right-wing intellectuals, as well as for their scientific and professional work helping the progress of Hungary and Hungarian society.
Awarded on the recommendation of the former human resources minister Miklós Kásler, professor of vascular surgery Lajos Kollár, the president of the association, received it from László Kövér, the president of the Parliament, and last year's awardee, Katalin Schmittné Makray.
As the speaker - who is also a member of the board of trustees of the Civil Hungary Foundation - put it in his eulogy:
With the award of the Civil Hungary Foundation, this time they pay tribute to an organization whose members are humble, knowledgeable and courageous guardians of our spiritual sovereignty today, who not only give strength, but also set an example for Hungarians who believe in God, country and family.
According to László Kövér, the circle founded in 1995, which today has almost two hundred members, has had a difficult fate, just like the representatives of national politics. The globalist international, which replaced the communist international, treats everyone who represents national value and interest as an enemy condemned to silence, existential intimidation and political-spiritual elimination.
However, as scribes, they publicly and in an organized manner stood up and stand up for the values and interests in which they believe. Their comments, recommendations and criticisms regarding the national policy are not self-serving and self-interested, they are not oriented towards party politics, but they serve the interests of the whole nation - emphasized the Speaker.
