"We will be able to manage cases on mobile, we will be able to request any kind of certificate or identity card on mobile. You don't have to go to the document office for anything," said Antal Rogán about the National Digital Citizenship Program.
The government has adopted the National Digital Citizenship Program, the purpose of which is to create the conditions for simple, convenient and efficient public administration, reports the Index.
According to the portal, in the program the government undertakes to create a uniform and excellent user experience digital environment, which significantly
simplifies the communication between the citizen and the various organs of the government.
Administrative spaces will be created as part of the program that guarantee simple, efficient digital administration 24 hours a day without personal appearance.
According to the paper, four basic digital services form the basis of the digital transition: ePersonal identification, ePosta, eDocument management, ePayment.
According to the plans, with the help of the mobile wallet, which can be used in a transparent manner, we can log in to the digital citizenship platform, prepare our tax return, apply for subsidies, or even manage our ePosta interface.
Goal: Don't have to go to the document office for anything
"One of the priority tasks of the National Digital Citizenship Program is that anyone can become a digital citizen by 2026," said Antal Rogán, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office. The head of the ministry also talked about the program in more detail:
We are developing a mobile application that allows everyone to carry all their ID cards with them on mobile,
but even his fishing license. We will be able to manage cases on mobile, and we will be able to request any kind of certificate or identity card on mobile. You don't have to go to the document office for anything. The mobile application allows users to view their data and documents on a single interface, and to manage, among other things, their family policy or tax matters," said the minister.
Rogán underlined that, based on the schedule, by 2026 we will be able to handle almost all of our matters involving public administration online. The development of the first, higher-priority administrations will begin in 2023, and the portfolio will be ready by 2024.
