In a telegram, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, on the occasion of the formation of his sixth government, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief, informed MTI.
According to Viktor Orbán, it is a remarkable political achievement that Benjamin Netanyahu is returning to the position of prime minister after his victory in the last November election. This perseverance is of particular importance in the difficult times we have to face, said the Hungarian Prime Minister.
Our commitment to the strategic partnership of the two countries and Israel's security is as strong as possible, he stated, adding: Hungary continues to support Israel against biased and unfair approaches on the international scene.
We are ready - continued Viktor Orbán - to further strengthen the close cooperation between our countries based on a common perception of national interests.
