The most expensive ticket for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris can cost up to 25,000 euros (about HUF 10 million).
For the highest-priced, so-called premium tickets, those who follow the ceremony on July 26 from a cruise ship on the Seine will have to pay this amount, the insidethegames.biz portal wrote.
The French organizers offer tickets for the temporary auditoriums to be set up on the river at prices between 90 and 2,700 euros, and the cheapest price to get to the VIP stand is 5,500 euros. At the same time, most of the approximately six hundred thousand people waiting for the opening on the banks of the Sejna can watch the festive events for free.
According to Paris 2024, which is responsible for organizing the Olympics, the ticket prices were determined "after extensive market research among potential buyers".
