In assessing the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, people are roughly divided into three major camps. On the one hand, there is the blind Zelenskyist camp, who think Zele should not be canonized, then there is the opposite pole, the Putin supporters, who are roughly the same as the opposing camp, and in the middle are those who deeply condemn Russian aggression, but the Recognizing the dirty political games taking place in the background, they are more or less aware that the world is not only divided into scheming good guys and satanic bad guys, and that the coin usually has two sides.

They are the ones who do not approve of the sanctions and the unaccounted for and uncontrolled supply of weapons to the Ukrainian side, but they believe that this must be put an end to, because the Ukrainian people are suffering and, let's say, the Russians who have been driven to the slaughterhouse are also suffering, and because of the sanctions and other consequences, the world as well, so they urge peace, which is considered a real sacrilege in the Zelenskyi believers' camp.

Although perhaps not if they received confirmation from the Pope, who perhaps cannot be accused of Putinist propaganda. According to Pope Francis, the "senseless war in Ukraine", which has created an international crisis, must be stopped immediately. He named global disarmament as the number one condition for peace in his year-opening address to diplomats accredited to the Holy See on Monday.

The head of the Catholic Church believed that instead of deploying more and more advanced military technology, the logic should be changed by following the path of complete disarmament, since "no peace is possible where the means of death are spreading".

He reminded that 2023 will be XXIII. It is the sixtieth anniversary of Pope John's encyclical Pacem in Terris (Peace in the world) in Latin. The papal document – which accompanied the Cuban Missile Crisis – called for peace between nations to be built on justice, love and freedom. And perhaps this round anniversary is not a coincidence, and it would be time to think about its message, its relevance, before it is too late, because we are dancing on the edge of a blade.

As Pope Francis recalled, in the age of his predecessor, humanity was on the verge of its own destruction, which was avoided with the help of dialogue. He explained: the threat of nuclear war still has a threatening effect today, and is driving the world into fear.

He urged an immediate end to the "senseless war in Ukraine", the impact of which affects entire regions outside of Europe in terms of energy supply and food production, primarily in Africa and the Middle East.

At the same time, the Pope drew attention to the danger of "ideological totalitarianism",

which is intolerant of those who do not subscribe to the views of self-proclaimed progressives, which actually lead humanity backwards by violating freedom of thought and conscience, he said.

These are serious, weighty words that need to be heard and heeded, rather than listening to the siren calls and echoing the voices that our "favourite" grinning Belgian Liberal MEP Verhofstadt repeats like a mad muezzin whose latest golden spit , according to which the Ukrainians are fighting for our territory and our values, so he would now send the latest European Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

Well, I don't know what kind of interests he might have in Ukraine, it is possible that he, along with the Bidens, had something brewing there, but that in this war they are not saving values, but destroying lives and values senselessly and senselessly, maybe he would really see that if it were not for the Brussels he would preach the "liberal word" from a bubble, not from Ghent's blushing luxury, but would go to the war-torn zone. I am not sure, but maybe then the heretical idea of peace negotiations would arise in his mind, at least until someone told him that he was not dealt this card...
