Csaba Czeglédy's social media site was flooded with comments attacking the judge of the Metropolitan Court, after the Szombathely representative wrote his opinion on the verdict declaring the DK politician László Varju guilty, reports the Vas Megyei Hírportál .
was found guilty of rioting and a crime against the order of the election due to the 2018 scandal at the headquarters of the MTVA.
Csaba Czeglédy commented on this judgment on his social media page on Monday:
In accordance with the interests of the authorities, the judge deemed it disorderly that Laci was fighting with the armed security guards, who otherwise took illegal action against him as an official, while they dragged him to the ground and then sat on him.
He later added:
By using the prosecutor's office, Fidesz wants to ensure that opposition parties do not dare to negotiate with each other before the elections. And the judge of the Capital Court assisted in this. Shame!
According to the Vaol article, Csaba Czeglédy did not name the judge in the post, he "only" described the name in a comment, adding: he made this "shameful decision". After the post was published, the judge of the Metropolitan Court became a target for commenters. Several comments that cannot be considered friendly can be read on the politician's social media page. One of them mentioned a blood judge, according to others, what is going on here is a shame, they want to comply with the authorities with the judge's decision, the newspaper reports.
It refers to oppressive power when an unfavorable judgment is reached
The article reminds us that this is not the first time that Csaba Czeglédy tries to frame an unfavorable decision as if there was a political motive behind it. He called the employees of the National Tax and Customs Office, which acted at the time of his detention in 2017, pribéks in an open general meeting. According to the interpretive dictionary, a pribé is "a person in the service of the oppressive power, available for anything, cold-bloodedly contributing to the loss and torture of others". In another case, Csaba Czeglédy mentioned János Bánáti, the president of the Hungarian Bar Association, as a Fidesz collaborator.
At a meeting, he accused the chairman of the Szombathely election committee, Tamás Hollósy, of bias and claimed that he was serving the political interests of Fidesz and wanted to manipulate the members of the committee. The well-respected Tamás Hollósy is the president of the Vas County Bar Association, while Csaba Czeglédy has been suspended from practicing law.
Last September, in the Devil's Advocate case, when the sentence convicting Csaba Czeglédy was annulled, the politician wrote:
I promise, the time will come when the prosecutors who trample the laws with both their feet will be brought to account together with their Fidesz masters.
Csaba Czeglédy did not question the independence of the judge who passed the verdict in this order. There, the person of the capital's chief prosecutor, whom he referred to as a "Fidesz chick", was put on the table, reports Vaol.
