A change has begun in the migration policy of the European Union, said the prime minister's chief adviser on internal security on the current channel M1 on Saturday.
György Bakondi was asked about the fact that, according to press reports, Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, called the protection of the Bulgarian-Turkish border the most important task in terms of strengthening the EU's land borders. Manfred Weber, the group leader of the European People's Party, stated that fences are also necessary in exceptional cases, and EU support must be provided for them.
The prime minister's chief adviser on internal security said: from the statements, it can be concluded that a change has begun in the EU's migration policy, which they hope will lead to the safe guarding of the external borders, thereby increasing internal security, and the reduction or cessation of political attacks, which the Hungarian government because of his migration policy.
He said: In 2015, a process to allow large numbers of people to enter the European Union started, this was in line with the position represented by György Soros' NGOs.
So far, the EU has emphasized organization, access to refugee status and condemned the construction of the fence.
György Bakondi emphasized that the Hungarian government has consistently represented its migration policy over the years, and although the Hungarian people have confirmed this in numerous polls and national consultations, they have received an extraordinary amount of political attacks.
He added that serious acts of terrorism, threats to national security and public safety, series of serious crimes, the strain on the social network, the entry of people of unknown identity in large numbers and the ineligibility of expulsion "probably encouraged political decision-makers to change " . He reminded that cooperation between the nation-states had already started in order to curb illegal immigration.
